    Hey guys,

I work for a wheel manufacturer that makes factory replica wheels for various vehicles applications. Most of the wheels they offer are typically in different sizes/finishes/weights other than what's offered through OEM specs. They recently started offering TRD Pro replica wheels to the lineup and plan on bringing in the TRD Pro wheels in a matte bronze finish. I personally haven't seen them in a matte bronze and think they look pretty cool (might get a set for my taco). Not sure if anyone has seen them offered in this finish but would love to hear what you guys think about the wheel?

    Wheel Specs:
    Size: 17x8
    Offset: 0
    Bolt Pattern: 6x139.7
    Hub centric (106.1)
    Weight: 24.25lbs

Agreed. I was planning on taking some pics with them mounted on my truck once they're available.

IMO those wheels have way too much going on before you even add bronze color.

Just asking.... Could they add black to the inside to create a 2 tone look to knock back on the amount of bronze??

That's what I was thinking. Just a bit too much bronze, needs some contrast.

I like them. Honestly I am tired of the black wheel popularity. I had thought about buying a bronze set until I scored new take-offs from another limited. Now I have two sets of identical rims...one of which I will mount falkens or BF KO2s for winter.

I like the 0 offset. Do they offer black?

How much do the weigh. The FN FX TRD replicas weigh less than the OEM wheels, and I think that is part of their appeal..

    LS1 swap with nitros.
Or in a color that Toyota doesn’t offer, like my bronze FN fx wheels.

I hear what you guys are saying. I was thinking with the red ring around the TRD lettering it might be enough to give it some contrast. That and having it mounted might give it the pop it needs.

We don't have the bronze finish live on the website yet but you can check out the other finishes here: https://www.factorystylewheels.com/wheel-styles/toyota/pro-style-f087-detail

We make them in gloss black, satin black and matte gunmetal. Weights are ~24lbs. I believe 17" OEM TRD Pro wheels are a little over 26lbs: https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/16-vs-17-pro-wheel-weight.526948/page-2. So ours are slightly lighter than OEM but we might introduce these in a Flow Forged option in the future which will reduce weight to about ~19lbs.

They're usually $300-$400 cheaper than OEMs depending on where you go.

At the moment we don't sell directly to the public only wheel shops which means you'd have to reach out to an authorized dealer. However, I'm going to see if I can get approval to sell some directly here on TW. Stay tuned.

I see on your website that there are no Canadian Distributors listed... Is that correct?
