IMG_20190505_145520.jpg Adjusted them and they still touch. Even these home made heater hose band-aids.

The only thing I can think of, is using different UCAs, but that's just more money being spent with no guarantee that the resevoir hose rubbing issue will stop.

Had a similar situation helping a friend put king shocks on a 2nd gen @Thtguyrandy, on his the hose was touching the coils with a chance of catching it between them. the hose position on the shocks was not similar to how mine are which was not in the way of anything. Not sure what randy did, if he reached out to the vendor to resolve the issue.

    How mine is set up

I'd like to loosen that main shock fitting to fix it and look clean like yours but don't wanna risk releasing pressure.

Sucks to hear that. Very common with Baja and Dirt King UCAs. I have a boxed UCA but it’s Icon and I’ve had zero issues. I’m pretty sure it’s because of their design on the angle and width of the arms and not the design on King’s hoses.

I am not sure why there are these issues. But for sure your hose looks way extended. Could it be where the resi is mounted? It does look in a similar mounting point as mine:confused:

Could you take a front shot of it?

SCS Ray 10s on BFG KO2s Prinsu Rack with Cali Raised light bar Kings 2.5 ext travel front and rear Camburg Kinetic uca Ome Dakar leaf springs Wheelers front and rear superbumps
So I just installed some ext travel kings with 650 springs. The most I can change the preload was a few turns ending with 5 threads showing on passenger and 6 threads on driver. Didn't give me much lift at all. Does anyone know how many threads I should try to get at to get around 3 in lift? Also I lubed the threads but it still won't budge. Any tips would help.

Comparing both set ups it seems the baja uca shape to be angled more towards the inside vs the icons or the Total chaos.:annoyed:. But still your hose is just not looking right vs how mine is

As for the cv boots and angle, its not that bad, you dont have much preload so i wouldnt go more unless you have clearance issues which it doesnt seem you do. If end up adding more weight (bumper etc..) it will eventually level up your axle and also as you drive it the coils will soften down and help leveling it. Ill snap a pick of my axle when i am done with work and share it. I have added preload but have some weight up front and my axle is at a good angle

Is it me or does that reservoir look longer than standard?

That's not a OEM bolt in coilover. That's a 2.5x8" Custom for the Long travel kit that's why. His post throws everybody off because those arnt the same coilovers that everybody in this thread has. lol

Looking at getting kings (standard travel) all around with maybe dakar or OME leafs in the back and new UCA's. I want to do it right, and I also want it to last a long time. Can anyone attest to any of this, and what have people purchased who have had success with this?

Only thing I would do differently is get a different set of UCA's. I don't like my SPC ones. Although, the newer versions are supposedly better. I would get any other brand than them. Everything else, no issues.
