As @bot102 suggested, Potash road into Canyonlands NP, then up and out of Island in the Sky via the Schaefer switchbacks, then to Dead Horse Point State park and then back down off the plateau via Pucker pass is an awesome little loop that can be done in a stock vehicle.

Pretty sure pups are not permitted in CNP or Arches. I think you'll be fine if you're just driving up Potash road and out the Schaefer trail, just be mindful if you stop to take pictures while in the park.

 

Hmm...no idea. I never think of that as we have no dogs.

 

You are correct. They are not. I have done it several times though keeping them in the truck and never had an issue.

 

Yeah I think almost every NP dogs are just permitted to cars and where cars can go IE parking lots and roads

I'm a "Masshole" thru and thu.....but LOVE our Hockey, Baseball, and Football team UNLESS they are actually playing the Boston teams. (Notice I did NOT put in Basketball....hate it haven't watched it since the late '80s).

I was So VERY happy that Ray Bourque got a Stanley cup. He would not have done that with the B's at the time and very happy for him!

OK back on track..the AV's have a chance...they just need to play GOOD HOCKEY!

 

I'm thinking their strategy should be to score at least one more goal than the other guys.
