A hit-and-miss engine is a type of four-stroke internal combustion engine that is controlled by a governor to operate at a set speed. ... The name comes from the speed control on these engines: they fire ("hit") only when operating at or below a set speed, and cycle without firing ("miss") when they exceed their set speed.

So I had a meeting today and apparently I am not sensitive enough towards those that roll up to me and my co-workers. I need to be more cognizant of others egos and feelings....
Ok, fair enough... Need to take a step back, got it....

Apparently calling someone out who decided to make drama out of something that had nothing to do with them and asking someone to do their job, is no longer the way it works...

I need to adapt and overcome....
I think this is the world I am in nowadays...
    919CAE2E-EFDA-467B-9383-0050F53B3A98.jpg

Love my job and the people I work with, however, apparently there are a lot of feelings on peoples sleeves and what is sad is that they are older than me, so I guess these are the reasons why millennials are so jacked up.....

Oh well, 7 weeks and I have a vacation coming...

Forecasters are predicting another rainy Friday. So far the kickoff car cruise has been cancelled twice for the last two rainy Fridays. At this rate, we'll have the kickoff and final all on the same day.

isn't it so fun to come back from a vacation to find that no one did anything to help you out while you were gone and you have a total backlog of work to take care of? that's how its always been for me! :frusty:

I basically believe you have agreed to go to work for a $$$$ and the company has agreed to pay you said $$$$.
Nuff said. It isn’t a democracy, it is an agreement, there is a chain of command. This is how orderly and structured and normally very profitable companies work. You still have input, however your feelings do not make money nor do they bring anything positive to the discussion. Good ideas work, bad ideas don’t.
This is my issue to deal with for sure, as to have a discussion would be counter productive and would further reinforce the nonsense... Just water under the bridge....

Found out today that they hired a THIRD F&B manager. 3 of them run 1 dept. By myself I run 4 depts....and I was about to inherit a 5th... (pool) the 3rd f&b is what was SUPPOSED to be pool manager.

    Screw it.

    3. Heat
