And my dog has webbed feet as of now. He has so much loose skin it’s hard to say if they will stay that way.

Seller is not willing to drive at all. Thanks for the offer. He did drop the price by $50 though.

Hate to say it but offroad the gladiators will do better (assuming they are locked front and rear).

Now, reliability and making it to the trail is a whole other conversation....

at least they are using off-road taco and not sport, but I would agree, Gladiator is better on trails, don’t need to make any Cmc to fit 35s... :boink: if it came in a single/access cab I would’ve been on the other side too:devil:

Drain diff -> disconnect abs sensors (any electrical you have attached to axles) -> take drums off -> take apart drum brakes you will have to remove wheel brake cylinders (cry and ask why are they still making drums...) -> have some beer & look at disk conversion kit, realize it’s overpriced and not worth it -> remove axles (4 bolts) -> remove/replace axle seals -> pull the axles, try not to bang them while removing, slide hammer might be required if you haven’t touched them in years -> disconnect driveshaft -> unbolt third member and clean/reapply gasket adhesive, assemble back -> continue cursing about toyota having drums at the rear while bleeding and adjusting brakes

you haven’t had a chance to press out and press in those axles bearings/seals yet, I was very close pulling trigger on disk conversion kit that day... especially when it’s a freaking 18 model:annoyed:

@Thyces you done need to take apart the drums. I believe you can remove the brake line and the axle shafts with the drums intact.

you don’t have to, but while you are at it might as well do if they are old, parts are cheap for them. Just preventive maintenance.

    Got it.

So @Thyces you can simply pull the shafts without doing the rear brakes. Just undo the hard line to the brake cylinder, four bolts, pull shaft (try to not let it hang on the seal) then the third is easily removable

If your brakes need to be done, you have to bleed anyways as stated.

If your doing cylinders measure your lines. There is two size of line so make sure you have the right one (can send pics of the two differences later if need be).
