Just enough to look kinda cool.
I got lucky and got a designated parking spot but teachers and administrators kept parking in my spot, each time I offered to tow them out of the way with some tow chains.

The taco was in the spot correctly, but once the ford pulled in, the taco had to slide over as to not get too close to that shit.

The reserved police parking was about 40 yards away from the door, and the handicap access area is only 20, so I guess it's there so they can save 20 yards of walking. The area I'm standing in is handicap as well, so that access area serves two spots. Mostly I took the picture for the next time I get a parking ticket. The VA cops at our facility are glorified meter maids.

Atleast could have been close to the lines and not blocking the lane.

Unknown lift, maybe 2" I don't know how to ID it, and would rather set it back to stock.
This shouldn't come as a surprise. DMV universally is an asshole magnet, just like a BMW convention, and not only for the customers. I mean just look at the dundridges (google that one) that are behind the counters. The only modern equivalent to going to the DMV is the airlines now, am I right?

It surprises me that they even bother to paint stripes in the parking lots there.

Consider your last experience going to the DMV. Not a single chair there matches any other chair, the walls are painted in a color that absolutely no one would identify as their favorite color, and not a single person in there looks like someone you would voluntarily associate with on any other basis than just being in the queue for the only window of 12 that is open at that particular high-volume time.
