    Good morning.
Got the system up and running yesterday as well as 99% of the dirt work. Now we need to go back and install the gray water dump which was one of the original reasons we were there. We're also going to install some bollards so nobody can drive on top of the tanks or valve boxes.

After 30 years, it's tough walking away. Gonna make it short and sweet....Just tell 'em I'm done and let the know-it-alls I work for solve this dilemma.

It is absolutely tough to walk away.
I’m scared shitless when my time comes even though I hate it.
    It’s the unknown.
    But you have earned it.
Not answering to anybody is the one thing I’m looking forward to.

Worst thing is accepting the fact that I CAN'T do many of the things I'm used to doing. Job being one.... Yesterday I started changing rear bump stops on my truck. That would have been an hour or so when I was healthy. Took 2-1/2 hours to do one side. Also, had to get my wife to open a 2 liter soft drink bottle yesterday. No grip anymore....

The job started to blow about 4-1/2 years ago. As long as they let me bitch about it, I was still OK. Now I just can't do it anymore. Getting old sux.

When I retired the first time I learned (or better yet the idea was reinforced) that you can go in any direction you want. I got the 2nd career path I wanted because I applied myself to that direction. And now, planning for after my 2nd retirement is part of the hotdog trailer/stand idea. Maybe not what others have in mind for their retirement years, but the point is there is a "known" if you want one to be there. Like you said, you won't have to listen to anyone else so go in the direction you want.

Don't feel like the Lone Ranger. We're all getting older. There are many things we can't do anymore. There are obstacles in the way of what we want to do. The ability to adapt is what makes us intelligent. Sure, it's a pain in the ass sometimes to get to where we want to be. Part of what inspires me is my helpers at work. A 75 year old couple. He has forgotten more than I will ever know and she just charges hard. She drives one of our stock F150's that's close to being as low as a stock truck. I've seen her carry a short step ladder to get in and out because of her knee replacements. But those don't stop her and she's doing what she wants, where she wants....and so much so that she is a volunteer!

There aren't many things that we can't "go back" to, and where you want to go may take you a little longer. But enjoy what you can and quit looking back and cussing the things you can't do anymore.

    Tooth pain

Been fighting this issue for years. Braces helped align the front teeth
Now the body has said fu and is absorbing the front teeth.

    Time to pull...root canal...bone graphs...implant. $1700. With insurance.

    8 months to a year.

Dosent even include the dentist fees.

    I am an old yawho

So bathroom update. I come home a few days ago to find that my wife had frog taped a living shit out of the bathroom on the account that I hit the ceiling a couple times and some of the trim. This I’m fully aware of as I intend on repainting everything , not just the walls. That being said I had to explain to her that when all is said and done I will be doing a touchup on everything, trim and the walls to finalize my work. She went on to say that I missed a spot near the shower, I said “that is because you put tape there and ZHU covered up what needed to not get paint on some of what needed to get paint on and you’re blaming me. I guess sometimes you just can’t win. Did some final touch up today as I am a little picky about my work and I don’t need anyone to tell me something I already know. When I posted the first pic under the window I had to fix a crack in the plaster which I ended up using fiberglass mesh drywall tape once I dug into the wall enough to reveal the complete crack I was able to fill it really well. In the past I have tried just skimming it and then always reveal the crack again. I think deep down inside I am just friggin lazy at times knowing I would have to go and do it properly ,eventually Well, I learn my lessons A little slower sometimes. This was my long drawn out thing I wanted to say thank you for enduring that

First pic sucks . Doesn’t show color well

Up at 2:30. Drive an hour to hunting area, hoping no one is there. Repeat daily.
    Watch it become daytime.
No Turkeys sounding off last few days.
That's OK, wouldn't trade it for nothing.
