Do you all have a Blue Beacon Truck Wash near you?


If so, I used to work there and can attest to the chemicals they use.



Firstly, I only use the Blue Beacon on a vehicle I am getting ready to do some DEEP DEEP cleaning on. The soap they use is code named "305" and it is proprietary. However, this soap removes all waxes and polishes. This is beneficial if you are doing a full 4 step detail. Also, if you use a spray on wax/drying aid, this will work too.

It is also very good for black plastics and rubber. Your tires will seriously look like new. No shit. I dont even use any kind of tire black/shine/coating/dressing anymore. They are just a deep, clean, matte black.



If you get super dirty, they can also do a "total de-mud" but this is quite expensive. HOWEVER, they will hit all suspension and undercarriage until you are happy. You read that right. They charge by the minute for this service, but if you want all the mud gone, they will do it.

Mr Clean....I used it back when I raced dirt bikes. Cleans plastic very well, yet mild and doesn't damage anything. Wash it with water, then put Mr Clean in a spray bottle and cover everything. Wash again. Made plastic shine. It's usually available at any grocery store. Cheap enough and effective. I still use it to this day.
