On my side I have aunts and uncles in Capelas and the wife has family on the Nordeste side. Achadinha to be specific. Her mom still lives there as does her brother and a sister. If you haven’t been in a while, or at all, you’ll love it. Infrastructure and roadways have been greatly updated. The old roads are still there however. It’s beautiful there. Really caters towards tourism now more than ever.

I love the old dirt roads! But I don't miss taking 4 hours from one side to the other of the island.

No I already did that actually. It's getting inspected today and the only issue I know of is a power steering leak. After that its skids and a lift- got everything except for UCAs. I think I'm gonna order the ECGS bearing too.

Tried to buy a sealy cocoon mattress for guest room, have a deal right now for queen size beds sheets and two pillows for $750 instead of 1k. We have another one and get lots of positive comments about it so figured get another.

Got an email today saying they wouldn't send it to me without providing a utility bill of my shipping address.

IMO that isn't part of the deal, I gave you money for a mattress, I paid for the whole thing, you owe me a mattress, I don't owe you shit else.

Canceled and won't ever buy a sealy product again. I am getting sick of all this "I need to know every single fucking detail of your life for simple transactions" bullshit.

Probably overreacting, but there are plenty of over mattress' that are literally the exact same thing that will do the trick without me emailing utility bills to them.

They made it clear they need the "entire bill" or photo i.d. wtf? I had internet and dish tv installed there without EITHER of those things. But a mattress needs that? I can't help but think its insanity.:evil::goingcrazy::goingcrazy::goingcrazy::goingcrazy::goingcrazy::goingcrazy::bananadead:

Did you buy online with a credit card? Could be their way of verifying you're not using a stolen card.

Enjoying a two hour paid wait for my DOT exam.

In my neighborhood there is a 2001 taco . Happened to see the owner, finally . Said mileage was 94k, runs just needs battery. Tailgate rusted. That’s all I could see without trespassing.
I asked would he be interested in selling ( on behalf of TW members), I might be able to find a buyer I said. Color is a blue- green. This is in Nashua, NH I am posting this without a pic but let me know and I will get one

No blood, I'd be happy to offer them a urine sample tho

It could be, but, that's between me and Discover, not sealy. That's why they ask for a CCV code during checkout I thought. They also didn't mention anything like "this is to prevent fraud", from the email it seems like they didn't think the address was real/an actual place. Shows up on Google maps, UPS, Fedex and USPS have all delivered there, and it has been on the books for two years. So I dunno, but I would rather waste time writing forum posts and complaint emails than give them my info.

Yeah insane, just bought another from Tuft and Needle. MADE in America, not just "Designed in Commiefornia" Also a good bit cheaper. Had some differences but for a guest bedroom that isn't going to be used more than 3-4 times a year, I don't need all the bells and whistles.

They canceled super fast, didn't even care. I know it's just one guy, but I can't be the only one who is confused by this information request and would rather cancel. Must not be enough of us where it makes a difference.

We got a Tuft & Needle too. I find it very comfortable and has been good for a year now.

Glad to hear it is standing up to everyday use. All the reviews are great so I figured I couldn't go wrong.

The only thing I can think of somehow is chargebacks.

I ran into this 2X myself. Once with N-Fab when I was buying my light bar. It was a T-Force specific part at the time. He could sell it privately but not list it on his website. He wouldn't take my CC without me faxing over a copy of my ID. I said not a chance and sent a check. I figured I wouldn't likely lose the money, but I'm not sending out that information. The second time was ordering a set of wheels for my Accord. They wouldn't sell them without sending a copy of my car registration. Again, I said not a chance and went with a different vendor.

    People are weird.
