I was lucky and found it on OfferUp and let’s just say the price was way too good to pass up. Brand new too :)

That’s the only reason I’m running a 12k winch, which is overkill for my setup. I would of been happy with an 8k, even 10k.

I actually like that front end/headlight style better. Do you know if a conversion can be done for the 01-04 model?

Yea you can convert them I had found a thread about it one time. From what I remember it was getting all the front like headlights, grille, bumper and lower. Also the hood, and some trimming.

Trust me, I've seen worse at Costco. That isn't half bad. My buddy works at my local one and tells me all the horror stories of what people do to take furniture home.

Anything vacuum related usually leads to the gas cap and evap system. I've fixed "large vacuum leak" codes on a Scion tC, an E320, and a Dodge Caravan just by changing the gas cap. Something to do with the rubber seals or something.

If you guys have pre-drilled mounting holes in your winch plate in your bumpers, might want to verify your winch plate can handle the winches you bought. Some 12K winches have different mounting (further apart) points from 8k-10K winches.

This makes sense. I had read about the P0446 code being emission systems related. IIRC, the reference was to a vent control circuit malfunction of the evaporative emissions control system.

I got this code a few weeks ago and cleared it with the scangauge. So far it has not come back.

Gas cap is a good place to start. It's solved most, if not all the vacuum related codes I've had.

Smittybilt XO 10k winch is the same dimensions as their 12k winch. The difference is in their gearing ratio. I already have it mounted to my AllPro Apex Bumper.

I looked at their spec sheet and verified before I did the purchase.

Yea, this blows my mind. People would come in a sedan expecting to pickup furniture.

I even had a guy come in a Camry to pickup my oem front bumper. Where’s the logic in that I don’t know, obviously they don’t either.

Ill put pics in my build thread tomorrow with a wiring description. The seats were from a wrecked truck for 70 bucks, wiring was pretty simple and the holes mostly lined up. The comfort on the new seats is worlds better

You can fit a surprising amount of stuff in a sedan with the back seat folded down. My Accord will fit a bunch of 8ft 2x4s with the trunk closed and backseat down.

Yeah I got some color match spray cans to paint it. Sadly they are rock chips :( that’s how I got it when I bought it 2 years ago.

    Lol I bet

I laid down the mattress in the crowded aisle to get a good test and rest before purchase - people definitely were lookin' at me like I was nuts or something.
