Nice. I have to wait Toyota is doing the TSS on May 6th. But weather permitting I will have the lift all done May 10th. Let me know how you like yours and take some before and after measurements

 

What’s the TSS recall again? I haven't received anything on it yet. Also I have 5100’s I am swapping out so idk if it’s gonna be a change in lift or not.

 

It’s not all 2018-2019’s but Toyota is recalibrating the radar wave and sealing the sensor

Great review! Just read through all 23 pages and was hoping to find someone with the 8112/5160 combo. Since you've had them on for a while now any updates on review?? Do you feel like your rear 5160s can't keep up with the 8112s??

I scored a set of 8112s for a good price and bilstein is out of stock on 8100s, plus they're like $2k :/

Can get a set of 5160s for only $370 so hoping they'll do me ok.

I see you went with an AAL instead of a full leaf pack, how much rear weight do you usually carry?? I usually have on 200lbs but up to 350lb with my RTT, hoping I can get away with just the AAL but feel like I should probably just spring for a leaf pack :/

 

Don’t spend all that money on dampers then make the crappy stock leaf pack even more crappy by stiffening it up.

What do you think about going with 5160s?? Am I wasting the 8112s potential by not matching with 8100s? :/

 

I’m happy with my 5160s but the rear moves more than the front so in some ways having adjustability back there is even more important.

I know it sucks waiting for backorders but they really are meant to be matched.

 

Install ??'s - Has anyone seen the front 3 upper mounting bolts start to pucker? ... As per the Bilstein instructions, bolts should be torqued to factory recommended 47ft-lbs.
Before getting to that torque, I noticed the bolt shaft start to pull up on the flanged part that rests against the shock...

 

Please post the picture of your situation.

 

See the inner portion of the bolt is pulling inward.

 

What did the Bilstein distributor say? Have you emailed Bilstein directly?

I'm hoping those pieces are "serviceable" press fit and if there is a defect it can be removed and replaced somewhat easily.

 

I’m wondering what kind of sag I should expect with 8112s on my 3rd gen with a SSO slimline bumper and winch (+100 lbs) & sliders (+100 lbs) on 600 lb springs?
