What did you drive before your Taco?

My buddy had one of those single cab diesels. Lifted 8 inches on 37s. Was pretty wild

 

Great gas mileage though

 

I've heard lots of mixed feelings about 3rd gens. I havent enjoyed any of the 4 I've driven

Eh, cars are just my thing. I enjoy experiencing them and it’d be a lot worse if I could afford to buy the ones I truly want, I’d be somewhere in the Jay Leno or Jerry Seinfeld realm.

I don’t see it as a problem. I don’t follow sports, I don’t go out drinking, chasing women, etc. I buy cars, enjoy them for a bit and have my fun that way. All is good

 

2002 Highlander Limited. Bought it dirt cheap off a relative with 60k miles on it.

At the time I had that and my wife had a 2012 Jeep Liberty. We planned a vacation to outer banks. We had so more confidence in the highlander so we took it lol More comfort too.

Loved that car but was tired of pulling a trailer for stuff. Wanted to get back in a truck.

 

Hard left turn and front right grabbed real good. I was driving stupid in wet grass. To this day I'm terrified to do donuts and stuff like that

Lots were owned concurrently, especially the bikes. The Taco is my only vehicle now.

Yeah, just bustin' your chops Man. Maybe I'm just jealous. I'd really like to get a Nissan 370Z and drop an LS in it one day but I'm pretty happy with the Toyota 4X4s I've had.

I do get it, I just never had the means to trade so often and never really had the desire. I do like to do a little of that with guns though!

 

I rode my BMX bike a lot before I bought my 1st Tacoma.

Used to drive a 94 ford explorer, was a nice little rig that I miss still to this day. bought it when I was 16 and drove it for a few years before buying the taco. had to dig for this photo and now I'm missing it even more haha.

 

How did you deal with the loss in power?

 

I miss my first car too man.

 

The 08 tundra was too big. Hard to park. Could not reach anything in the bed. Took up too much space in the garage. I hated it. My 2000 tundra is the perfect size truck and i am still driving it with 250 k on it. I like the Tacoma better than the new tundra but not as good as my 2000 tundra. I only have 20k on my 2015 Tacoma 4x4 off-road.

 

Manual 1992 Honda Prelude. The speedometer stopped working a few months after I bought the thing (in 2012) so I had to estame my speed by the rpm’s
