I almost hit a big ole Betsie cow standing right in the middle of my lane in a 55 mph S curve. Big mud terrain tires don't do well locked up!!! I still think about it every time I eat a hamburger

I ran through a mess that was a deer in my truck on way home from work. Took dog out for a walk and she practically sniffed the paint off of it My truck looked like a crime scene

A Mom Goose on a roof where I was working a couple weeks ago.

 

Deer and black bear are two critters I haven't hit, thank goodness.
Deer carcasses are a common sight along the roads.
Bear much less frequently, but it happens.

The last time there was an item in the paper about a black bear being hit...
...the story said a subcompact hit the bear.
The bear got up, grunted and ambled off.
The car didn't fare so well.

 

My thinking was to be surprised when I see one on the lot when the wife is with me. Which she will call bullshit and I won’t get one anyways. My current truck would be green if it was offered.
