Right around 17 minute mark, "bend that spring til it meets up with them other cocksuckers. It's a cocksucking meet-up, it's kinda like a bunch of Toyota guys in the Tim Hortons parking lot"

Lmaooo this is the kind of Canadian I could kick it with in the shop:rofl:

well then Mr. Wizard, why dont you do Chris a solid and post up the 5-lug info?

NO. Sounds like you're talking about removing the shock from the coilspring. If you have not done this before, for your own safety - remove your coilover and take it to a shop and have them install the new shock. Not too expensive and very well could save you some hurt.

This seems like a good place for a rant. Only had the truck about 7 weeks and slowly doing things that need done like plugs, cleaned the MAF and such. I noticed a wet spot on the garage under the front end this week, and I assumed it was AC condensate. Still there the next day. It was oil. Of course it was. Climbed underneath and the oil pan was wet so I sprayed it with brakclean and waited a few hours. Easy to see that the oil drain plug is leaking and better yet it has globs of blue permatex on and around it. Went through the receipts the previous owner had and the oil was changed last a Walmart. Really? Permatex? JHC, how much is a freakin’ crush washer? Walmartian asshats.

Or just set your foot on it and hit the nut with an impact and let er fire across the floor... Not safe by any means but pretty fun and safer than looking over it and doing it with a ratchet, those are the guys that get smacked in the jaw

Just hope they didn't cross thread it and try to RTV it in. I use the little rubber/metal washers, you can reuse em and they never leak and it's hard to tighten too much

Cross threaded, now there’s a happy thought. Was going to splurge for the $1.79 oil pan drain plug gasket at AAP and try a quick switch-a-roo with my thumb over the drain but I’ll just do an oil and filter change instead. Have to drop the skid plates anyway to do the AC idler pulley.
I think the thing that annoys me most is the previous owner was in his 70’s and had the oil changed a couple months before he died and I bought the truck from his widow. I just imagine some POS oil change monkey thinking he got over on an old guy by pulling a stunt like this.

Nah hes right. 1 on top, 2 bolts on the bottom. 5 lug setup is the same as the pickups, minus the coil spring. It isnt a coilover that he can take to a seperate shop.

And after I was demonstrated how to safely decompress the coil on the 4x4 suspension by dropping the lca via floor jack, I will never pay to have them disasembled/reassembled by a shop again.
