The faq asks if a Toyota can go.

Not sure about the Garden of Eden trail, I've never even heard of that one before...is it up at the top of Big Bear or at the bottom?

lol fuckin Jeep guys think a Jeep is the only thing that can go off-road.

We did Cleghorn once, and my Father in Law brought his Land Cruiser, we were parked at the end just talkin, and a guy in a stock Jeep Wrangler came by, and asked what was up the road. FIL replied something about the trail, and the Jeep guys responded, "well if that thing (motioning to the LC) made it through, we'll be good."

From the little research I have done it says that It is also known as Jimber Trail but it is an unmarked trail off of Rattlesnake Canyon near Motino Wash. someone said "if you don't go there with someone that has been there it would be very difficult to find."

Yea, I hate gatekeepers. Just let everyone have their fun, as long as they're not hurting anyone or the environment.

Shows what they know lol, Toyota has purposefully overbuilt Landcruisers since their inception to last forever and tackle just about anything.

I could understand arguing Jeeps versus Tacomas, Jeeps are built to wheel better 'out of the box' than Tacomas are. Jeeps are built to wheel, but suck at just about everything else. Tacos are built to do a bit of everything and do a good job at all of it.

And if we're talking reliability, Heeps don't hold a candle to any Toyota

yea, exactly. It just seems in line with my experience with Jeep guys, that think Jeep has some kind on monopoly on Off-Roading.

Appreciate it, hopefully nothing happens that requires a welder lol but it's good to know it's there. There's a 27% chance I might bust a CV axle but I always come prepared to deal with one of those

Knowingthere is a Jeep club going up there makes me want to go start trouble even more. :burp:

Not trying to be “that guy,” but have you done any of the trails you just listed?

Looking at your avatar you are lacking all of the armor that you should have to try them in a 2nd gen Taco. Or are you taking a different vehicle?
