I got a cb before my lift, because I wanted to hit the trails and communicate. After I hit the trails, i researched for 3 months before buying the lift I have. I wanted daily driver reliability, increased travel and off-road capability, but not break the bank. I've done crazy stuff in my truck lol on it's suspension. I also knew it would be a long time before I did the work for 35s, and saw that I could go 33 with 255s without any rubbing (depending on alignment) at all. That's how I ended up with my current setup.

And LBR on her very slow process will not likely lift again, but will have that tru-trac pumpkin sometime soon. That will be what I need. I will play with mounting that portable, but it can stay in a case I will buy. Some little electronic mods. This group will surely find something else I have to do, but nothing I need!

 

I'm going to Google it, but I used to get the dvd magazine from Japan that did the drift bible that had awesome Japanese racecars in it....

 

Tru-track is pretty good, but locker is better. You don't wheel hard, so there's no issue, but if you did I'd say get a locker instead. It's pretty sweet you're getting the hookup on that diff, though.

No, I don't go hard at all. Trails and beach are all I want to do, and I will be great for that - locker without the hassle. We want to see pretty places, not crawl all over them! And I would like LBR to be able to afford to get to some of these places. Anything worrisome, I would never go with some friends and equipment. I bring beer, after all!

 

The traction aids on hybrids are a problem. If there's too much wheel spin, they don't move. The Fit is straight 1L of gas fury lol

 

All you need is a e locker oldie push button locker

 

oh I know about that wheel spin I could sit here and spin the tires forever in this Prius

 

I found a rear end with an e locker in it for six hundred bucks on eBay

 

Will be getting all the function I need with the Tru-Trac. I think my old 2010 blue TRD had that locker, and I never used it, even going North in winter. I will be fine with the "always there when it needs to be".

 

That tru-trac is perfect for you. I'm surprised you're doing all these mods, but at least they're actual improvements instead of led lights under your dashboard lol

That reminds me of when I first got into cars trying to improve my 60 foot times at the drag strip with a front wheel drive car. Had to have just the right amount of wheel spin.
