Ya... all of that may be true. But it's a sure coincidence that the no dogs allowed seems to always be in the areas where the highest concentration of upity shit bags reside.

Just sayin...

And no, I'm not saying everyone in the bay is an upity shit bag... just that the upity shit bag concentration is higher in the bay area than in other areas.

I don’t see a harm in taking your dog on a trail that has a no dog sign but that’s just me.

The no dogs thing really bums me out, but it's becoming more and more common. It only takes one or two fuckers not doing their part to ruin something for everyone, and the same goes for all the fun stuff.

Also, I heard back from Phil yesterday, Drifter is going to be late July or early August :/. Bummer but it is what it is, and at least I'll have some more time to get my shell sold.

Also also, speaking of waiting my 13 year wait is nearly at an end. NEW TOOL on August 30th!

So here's my current plan; correct me if you think you have a better idea:

The '13 needs some work to the left side, inner CV boot before it's daily driven.
The immediate plan is to do the boot-slide-mod so there's no new rubbing, but I know it'll need to get dealt with soon. No idea if it's the factory half-shaft, but chances are it is...
I don't have a trail-spare for my '15, so my thought is to eventually replace the entire half-shaft on the '13 with an aftermarket one (it's a mall crawler, so I'm not worried about binding), and then re-boot the take-off to be my spare for the '15.

I've been posting in a few different threads, and am too lazy to see if I've posted this pic in this thread already, but here's what I'm dealing with currently:

Every time I've called he's answered. I guess you could just stop in there.

 

Try fixing your rubbing without trimming first. Maybe this link will help if you dare to try it...I'll be trying this in the next week or three...I'll let you guys know how it goes when I do it!!!

Went on a day trip to the coast today.

Went on a short (7 mile) day hike. Saw some great scenery.

 

Saw a bunch of Tule Elk
