    That was my thought as well. Tie it into both the front and side rail. That, and extend the base plate out more so it’s larger and more underneath the tire.

    But I don’t know if I wanna go through the effort. I’m gonna see if I can just strap it to the side of the bed vertically.

    Not quite, it was cut in several pieces but the main thing done is the bottom was raised up 2 inches, never even looked at a 4runner bumper until u said something

    I cant remember what the underside of our beds look like but maybe put a plate underneath the bed and tie the two together for extra rigidity :notsure:

    I would have liked to but there’s vertical ridges running every which way. I think I would need a larger base plate as well as tie it into the bed rails to make this thing really rigid. Still haven’t decided if I wanna pursue that.

    I have LEDs in my reverse and brake lights as well as the license plates lights. Never had any issues.

    Had a few free minutes last last and installed an led string in the bed. Not too bad for a couple of AA batteries and 12 bucks. Will probably order a second one for the passenger side.

    I got the ones with the red LEDs in them, I'm currently working on wiring the red ones to the brake lights
