Word, all of the tire wear and none of the unpredictability of a lunch box locker

I welded the corners of the spider gears together but decided not to leave it alone and figured some 1/4 plate would be dandy too.

Not too worried about breaking stuff unless I get into the 37"+ tires

seriously, aside from the tire wear most of the doom and gloom BS about having a welded diff is wrong or over-exaggerated.

This isn't my first and it won't be my last. Never have had an issue in rain/snow as long as I drive responsibly. If it's snowing and I'm in 2wd punching the gas will kick the rear out. Having a detroit or lunchbox locker will do the same

Lockers make driving in the snow MORE fun. I also disable my ABS for MORE FUN. :bikewhoops:

    What hasn't been modified?
So they changed it from a motor to an electromagnet... that ups the difficulty since I’m not an electrical engineer.
But from what there talking about a simple resistor to bring down the power wound work, except then truck is not going to be happy. Unless multiple relays are present to make 2 circuits. One to allow the lock via the computer, another to breakaway from the computer and power the magnet. Then when switches off wound go back to truck ecu controll

Serious question: Why do people feel the need to black out their license plate when they post a picture?

My guess is they are poor shots and thus not looking for ad hoc target practice opportunities.
