So what you're saying is that it was done years and years ago? And I talked about the equipment. How can an employee make good products with shitty tools? You think about it before you think.

 

Same someone had some yellow zinc powder coating done. Kinda liked it. Can’t rememebr if it was here or FB

 

Shitty welds are from the last 6 months to a year or so.... food for thought.... well after said ex employee.

And yes this was done with said persons personal equipment...... Not avids

 

My Avid sliders have been fantastic for what they are. Quality welds and bends. Have used them as jack points multiple times, had my 5000lb truck on them while braced on rocks, and thrown then against rocks. Even used my passenger side to secure a rope harness with 2 people hanging off of it in a recent backcountry rescue. Only thing I’ve had to “fix” is touching them up with spray paint and filling some of the scrapes in with metal putty. There’s my opinion of a company and their product.

 

But did they remember to add pickles?

I have a yeti 65 white, in good shape. Normal signs of use but not abused.
