God do I know it too... Only help with a couple of those rebuilds. This guy said he built it and has the receipts to prove it but at the same time it's still a Chrysler automatic and no matter how well you build it it's going to explode

 

dimensionally it has a better chance of fitting than a 6BT. Plus even at stock power you're making 325hp and 525ftlb which would be killer in a Tacoma.

Since you have the motor out when you're doing the swap you'll have the perfect chance to do headstuds, egr cooler, oil cooler, STC fitting

 

I thought you can still get the bedrug kit?

anywhere from 130-180k, which by all means is good for a Chrysler since their shit never lasts that long anyway but the Cummins engine is good well past that. They live closer to 20k or less if you boost the Cummins to its potential and tow.
