    Have you looked at the gallery on the powder coater's website? I went with custom colors and got swatches after finding colors i liked from the gallery (just note you are limited to single coat options and should stick to the UV stable colors).

    It's completed, but I'm waiting on delivery. I've got a quicksand tacoma so I went with walnut panels and super rootbeer space frame.

    Has your been done for a a little over a month now? There was a brownish one in the cure process when I picked mine up. Myself and Ross were wondering what color truck it was going on. The color looked really good.

    Very cool. The frame definitely has a metallic shine to it. It came out pretty amazing. Please post some pics. I have a quicksand tacoma as well

    I wonder if choosing custom colors delays production?

    Here’s my timeline so far to those it may concern. The leaderboard just changed and my camper is finally in assembly. Can’t wait!

    Not sure when the original deposit holder placed his order since I took over unit #234 from him early January. (Feel free to chime in on that if you want.)
    Payment was due in full at the time I took it over and options where ready to be set. I did not receive the welcome kit but he did. I already knew what options and colors I wanted so I just paid and set them to get the ball rolling.
    (EDITED)
    * 8/21/18 “Order Placed”
    *“Estimated Start Date”: 4/29/19
    * 1/11/19 “Ready For Production”
    * 3/7/19 “In Production”
    * 3/15/19 “Components Produced”
    * 5/8/19 “In Assembly”
    * 5/15/19 “Sealant Curing”
    “Complete/Ready For Pickup TBA”

    Sioux Boy is excited for camping season to begin again.

    Order placed 8/21/18. Order stated, “Estimated Start Date: 4/29/19”. Right on track, I would say.

    I have the 2” mattress in my camper. I have laid in it a bit. Seems very comfortable. Going out this weekend for a full night’s sleep test. They have been pretty spot on it seems with quoted lead times. They actually started my camper about a month earlier than I was told when I purchased. The longest wait for me was going from components produced to in assembly. That took 6 weeks.

    I would appreciate your thoughts on the 2" mattress after your full nights sleep test. Thanks in advance

    Are the fitted sheets now made for the 2” mattress?

    I imagine they wouldn't continue to sell fitted sheets that won't fit their current mattress. But given that they are fitted sheets, they likely didn't have to change anything because it will still fit a 2" mattress. If anything you will have more overlap on the bottom which is nice.

    I'm confused about the GFC & truck bed length. There's a one foot difference between truck bed sizes (short bed/long bed). According to GFC the mattress is the same size. Is the shell one foot longer? Why isn't the mattress? Thanks.

    Got it. If I look closely I can see a bit less cab overhang on long beds. Maybe more room for that front rack. :) Thanks.
