Even with smoked caps over the tail lights, stage 2 is still bright.

Got my Stage 2 Kit installed yesterday, the hot butter knife was taking to long. Switched to a soldering iron to melt the hole... Messy yes, easier than using the knife trick. Also instead of using the epoxy solution, I had the Morimoto Butyl retrorubber left over from the headlight retrofit project.

So I put a bead of the butyl rubber on the 7443 adapter, heated it up with a heat gun, then inserted into the enlarged hole. Much quicker install has the butyl glue just needs to cool and it's waterproof/sealed.

 

So I got my Stage 1 about a month ago, installed it and everything works great! I had to use the resistors, tried the turn signals without them and got hyperflash.

My question is this: With these resistors in place, can I change out the front turn signals to LED and not have to worry about hyperflash? Or should I just get the resistors anyway? Please help, I'm not super familiar with this kind of thing. I'm looking at some LED bulbs from VLEDS.

You'll need resistors for the front, too.

 

Hmm, I disagree. The resistors in the rear should cover the entire turn circuit.
