Why are you taking all that stuff so late? I’d be done with physics and Calc II next semester.

Out of curiosity, how do yall's break pedals feel? After getting my drums adjusted a month or so ago, I still cant get used to how sensitive that pedal is. I barely have to press the pedal at all to stop fast.

Mine's always been pretty firm and not super quick. Like you can stop fast but you got to put some pressure on it

I need to get mine adjusted I think, I have to press pretty good but my truck is also a bit heavier. But my drums have never been adjusted to my knowledge, I'm taking in for an alignment on Friday so I'll probably them looked at then

It takes barely any pedal travel to bring my truck to a stop from highway speeds. Just doesnt feel like any other toyota Ive driven, where you gotta press it more to get it to stop fast.

It was night and day after a drum adjustment for me. Almost went through the windshield leaving the dealership.

Mine is really firm and has no ABS, I've always assumed the lack of ABS was related to the pedal feel. Does yours have ABS?

Thats the thing, it takes hardly any pedal travel/force to stop my truck. I dont wanna sound like Im complaining about good brakes but they just feel too touchy almost.

Sounds like my cruiser, it has a lot of brake booster advantage and 4 wheel discs

Like I said earlier, it bothers me most when I have boots on cause I cant really "feel" the pedal before its stopped completely if you catch my drift. Just super touchy. Maybe the ceramic pads paired with a good adjustment are what did it, or maybe the bpv bracket. :notsure:

Check which locks up first on dirt. you always want your front brakes to lock up before your ears that's how you can tell if you have the bpv adjusted right.

Does making the bpv taller cause the rears to grab first? Or is it the other way around? Its been awhile since I researched all that stuff.
