Intro to fitting 35s (< 3" Lifts for those that wheel and love alignments)

Sweeeeet am i looking at Alpine design cab mount relocate? You have the 16x8 3.5s.. i have the 17x9 3.5s -38..

 

Any pics?? As seen on TV flex tape?

 

Watch out for the wire loom that runs directly above factory mount on drivers side.

Here's a pic of it when I first finished up with it. It's shiny because I sprayed a layer of black rubberized paint over everything after and it's still wet in the pic. It dulled down to a matte finish so it's not as noticeable after. I'll also post a pic of how it's looking now 7 months later

Wow you painted over the flex tape.. was just thinking what i could use because i got a bit aggressive when i cut the liner above the cab mount and left some exposed foam & it’s starting to get weathered.. I’ll give it a shot

@Catfish21 are you on 315s with a -38??

 

I mean, i’m on spidertrax wheel spacers 1.25” and -12 offset with SR8’s. Still rubbing and need to redo the CMC and cut more aggressively.

Ok!! that’s pretty damn close to a -38.. why the wheel spacers? From what I’ve heard the -10 4.3BS is perfect. 17x8.5” right?

 

-12 4.3 bs yes. But I wasnt sure about clearance for 35’s and have been on spacers since 33’s. I might take them off soon just to see how it looks. I wasnt happy with them off with 33’s. But these are bigger now so lets play around with it


Also i am on 16x8 not 17x8.5

I prefer a meaty fitment

Does anyone know if icon billet delta joint UCAs will work with 35s? It seems like everyone is using the SPC UCAs...
