@EatSleepTacos @ilubtimmyhos it looks like Flagpole will be out of the question for me this weekend. Just changed the engine oil and noticed the front passenger axle seal is leaking. Sooo, looks like I'll be playing in gear oil
On the other hand, I may end up drilling holes in a perfectly good passenger fender while I'm working on that side...

Hey, mine too! I just topped off the gear oil and called it good.

 

Well in that case, I may just do the same, send it this weekend and fix shit next weekend.

 

I'm on the 5th seal on the passenger side in about 2 years. I keep going through them and I've about given up at this point. I hope when I regear eventually it'll fix it. So at this point I'm just gonna top it off every couple weeks until I get around to fixing it.

 

Did you run into the issue of there being two different seals depending on the clocking position of the case locating tab or is that in the later 2nd gen years?

 

No I’ve never heard of any of that. Maybe that’s my issue.

 

It's quite possible. I just went ahead and ordered both of them and when they come in, I'll mic them out to find the difference.

 

Please take a pic of the two side by side, I'm curious what the difference is.

 

What clutch and coilovers are you going with?

 

Excedy stage 2 with the thick disc and saw 2.5's.

 

There is a driver side and a passenger side. I cant remember what the difference is but there is one.

 

What are u doing Tuesday?

 

Yeah I knew that much, the passenger side is a bit larger. I've replaced both a couple times lol
