How many folks would be up for a round 2 of this? I'm thinking some weekend in June? I have neither the tool, nor the knowledge, but I can offer the space. I have a largish driveway. I can supply the beer too, but it's going to be Vitamin R.

I think this would be round three, but who's counting?! I have a removal tool and am happy to help. You'd need to rent a racing set from Autozone or similar for the bushing install.

I'd be down to join -

i also just became a member at The Shop in Seattle (lifts, tools, etc) and would be down to host someone who knows what they're doing in exchange for a tour of cool cars and a meal :)

bumping this up if others are still interested. I will likely want to do this as well if there are still a few folks looking to do it. Timing for me won't be for about a month though...out of town the next 3 weeks for work.

I live in Issaquah, WA...but could travel a bit for a meet up.

I might have to order my bushing just in case this actually happens. I'm also in the Issaquah area.

I might just order too. I'll doing my lift and UCA's tomorrow (hoping all goes well and I don't mess anything up :) ). I don't know yet if I will get the vibration, but kind of think I might based on all the folks that do. So just thinking ahead.

Well, gonna need to do it :)

Got my suspension installed. Took me all day Friday, but was a fun project. Should have just done the needle bearing while I was at it. Anyway, getting vibrations now which have all the right symptoms for this.

I’m going to plan to do this in 3-4 weeks after I get back from some work travel. End of July time frame.

If anyone wants to combine forces, let me know.

Seems like it's been 4 weeks or so :). I need to do this as well. I have the removal tool. I have large sockets, not an impact wrench though. I don't have any jack stands nor floor jacks. I do have two hi lifts, obviously one doesn't work under those, but I'm just listing what I can contribute. I'm happy to provide the driveway and beer though. I'm near carnation, 25 min. to Issaquah for me.

So I’m thinking Fri Aug 2, or Sat Aug 3 to do the bushing. You still interested? Anyone else interested?

Bummer, I already arranged for a shop to do it while I’m having work done in that same area. Thanks for the ping though. Hope you get a good turnout.

Anyone still need to do this? My bushing is being delivered 12/3 and I will hopefully be installing it soon after.

Here's the video I used. Was an easy job with two people. Best method for CV removal was the screwdriver on the notches.
