Game Of Thrones

This show is going to go down in history as having the worst final series ever, right up there with Dexter, only much more popular. Pretty sad how much they ruined it.

 

I think some of the issues and woes this season is the longer episodes and trying to close 10+ story lines in 6 episodes. The writers/directors have to squeeze in so much information, connections and plot twists into these long episodes that you get numb to some of the surprising aspects or tiny details. With so many loose ends and potential twists, you can only focus on some many things at one time. Sending off people early with a simple goodbye keeps the story going, otherwise they would have to die to wrap them up quickly. I agree the Night King death was a little anti-climatic and didn't help explain any theories out there, but can't have them fight him for 3 episodes and try to wrap up the much more political and tactical Cersi war. Probably should have wrapped up the Night King last season and focus on the throne war this season to give adequate budget and time to both.

 

I mean .. you’ve seen this season and S7, right?

CGI or the budget isn’t the concern. It’s the writing. GMMR is gonna cash in on this so hard because everyone will be wanting a conclusion that fits the story he created.

 

RIGHT!! THE BOOKS! THE GODDAMN BOOKS!! WE WANT THE GODDAMN BOOKS!!!!

Im not even going to start reading them until the whole thing is finished. So maybe never.

I read a news article earlier about a bunch of spoilers that have been compiled from "credible insiders" (people that had leaked accurate info about major plot points and even cinematic details). If even half of what I read was accurate, the last 2 episodes are going to be nucking futs.

 

Yeah, they work for Lucasfilm now. All speculation say they're getting the knights of the old republic trilogy...

 

I saw an article referencing that some credible leaks got out but I have not read any as I don’t want to spoil anything but I’m so freaking ready for the final 2 episodes


I also read they have shot plenty of fake scenes and endings so any leaks could be wrong. Who knows... Is it Sunday yet?

That's one reason why I left the link under a spoiler tab. I had considered mentioning a couple of points, but discussing leaks is much different than offering theories.

 

Your character is completely intact, just having a laugh. There are so many horrible things that could happen.
