So another personal opinion sorta question. I want to go with the stock weight flywheel since I now have a choice. Should i order oem at 400 doll hairs or luk for 100$?

I could still go heavy, but it felt like it lugged the motor down at low rpm a bit. But maybe thats the blower.

On saturday, we're going to do a flagpole knob run. We'll have two groups, one to go a normal pace and one that we're gonna haul balls. Then we'll camp saturday night and come back sunday. Gonna be a great time!

I would go OEM personally. Think about it this way, is the $300 savings REALLY worth it?

ohhhh... OK so never been off road but would like to go for a run and see what the Taco is capable of doing. Where are the exact details? meet time? route? etc?
I keep seeing people talk about the baofeng radio's also. Got a programing setup for these just need frequencies that are requested so I can make an "image"

What we typically do is meet up at the sheetz nearby, people can fill up and grab snacks, and we'll roll out as one big group from there. Since we'll be camping we can meet up a little later.

Let's do 11am at 533 University Blvd, Harrisonburg, VA 22801 which is the sheetz down there. Your stock truck is plenty fine, this will be a perfect opportunity to get out and see what all it can do. Since there will be two groups it's looking like it'll be you, @twheat40 and @crashdb

That the sheetz you changed your pulley at? I'm trying to make it but still have the skids off the truck after changing my timing cover seal. I decided to do a trans flush while I had them off. I fucked up and was looking at engine temp instead of trans temp when doing the level check so i will have to redo that Friday after work. Put the skids back on and fix a few wiring issues. I wont be in the haul ass group. I have the tent on and I'm old and slow anywayo_O

Yeah I'm pretty sure that's the one. There are two sheetz right near one another and I've met at both now.

And you should definitely try and come, even if you just toss the IFS skid on. It'd be fun to have a decent sized group to camp together.

Have spent the last 22 hours in Fairfax Inova hospital. My son, 26, slid off of I66w going home last night straight into a large tree in the drivers door. He got banged up pretty bad. He's stable and slowly improving every hour. I went to see the car and get his hockey sticks and gear bag. Could not believe he made it out this alive. Thank you lord for blessing me this day

Holy shit bill. That’s hard as hell to go through and I’m glad he’s improving. Like Adam said let the TW family help if there’s anything we can do. Like bake a shitty casserole or something.

Trooper said they had difficulty getting him out of the car. Chopper to hospital. Both collar bones are broken, 3 broken ribs, badly broken/lacerated hand, a cut behind his ear, concussion with small amount of bleeding on the brain.
Y'all be safe this weekend, have fun, and send it

Oh man Im glad hes ok. I went off the road this weekend coming back from camping. The ditch on the side of the road directed me at the telephone post which I cut at the base and moved 4 ft20190505_154448.jpg . Luckily me and 2 passengers were unhurt and damage to my land cruiser was minimal (fender, tailight, tie rod sleeve bent, hole in oil pan), and expensive tow and some tickets.
