I'm actually working on a Pittsburgh mod meet & get out & meet a few locals

 

Finished this little project today plasti dip bottom piece and painted trim ring red to match other red pieces.

Also got distracted in between and did this but showed it to the boss and she changed my mind for me. Not that I was actually going to drive like that was more interested if it could be done. It does thread on there drilled and tapped hole in bottom.

 

Finished changing out the almost useless stock led in the shell to a mini flood light. The carbon fiber was a nice touch, but really it's what I had on hand. Made template in a cool shape, turns a out a squared worked just fine.

I have an 09 and want to upgrade to a decent stereo. Most are camera compatible. I wonder if the factory wiring could be hooked up to it?

 

Mounted an ARB awning and Westing brush guard with wench mount. Going to take her out to Browns camp and trails next week.

 

You should post up a how to when you succeed.

I have a backup camera in the DD. I usually don't use it, but it is nice to have when I need it. I'm sure I'd use it more in the truck because visibility isn't as good.

You probably can. I would assume that there is an adapter for the stereo end of the wiring because I think the OEM camera runs on 6v from the stock radio instead of 12v. Do some research in the Audio section.

You can get blue 48 LED smd panels and a festoon adapter to give you more light, tho the KC’s are rather bright.
