It took me until I was 21 to finally have a moment of downtime where I could try do nothing. It felt terrible, it just made me guilty for not somehow being useful. The pressure to always be doing something productive is good, otherwise you end up as one of those kids that's a burnout and those end up homeless or in prison... Or a completely dead end job.
