I hate those damn trucks, for as big as they are on the outside, they are small as hell on the inside, they never carry enough, and they get blown up way too easy.
Now this british truck on the other hand

I will probably have to get something eventually when I get my bumper and then a winch and I was thinking either foxes or icons. I could also pick up the icons for $980 from downsouth new and I don't think I need the remote resi. Maybe I should just wait until I get all my shit on my truck then get coilovers.

 

I dont really see a need for resi's unless you LT. I would do coilovers and UCA and than start with the bumpers and stuff. All of its gonna be heavy and make ur stock stuff sag untill you get the correct suspension to hold it. Just my .02

 

I don't think I'll need ucas because I won't run more than an inch or so of lift and I don't plan on going bigger than 265. Yeah I don't think I need the resi's either. My logic behind doing bumpers and winch first is then I won't have to keep resetting the coilovers and getting it aligned as I add stuff. Thanks for the help.

Yeah u shouldnt need to have them realigned that much. I never realigned mine after my lift, it needs it but never got around to it. So you could get away with doing it after u finish all the bumper and stuff that would effect the height.

 

thats alot for a set of used foxs too id rather spend the extra 100 bucks and get um new! and i agree with ryan get ur lift set up before the extra weight is added

 

True true. But I think it would be easier to set the height once. I guess I could set it a little high if I install them before I put them on but then it would just be a guess.

 

I think you will want to do more than an inch.... I would run max and let the weight drop it down. It will still look good with 265s

 

Alright cool decision is final I'll pass on them and I'll probably wait and get the Icons when I'm ready.

Maybe I want to see my truck as a lowrider Nah really I saw the pic of the guy with the arb on stock suspension and it looked alright. I'm pretty sure it can hold out for a little while.

they arnt hard to change all u do is jack it up then crank on it then put it back down super easy but its your call man ur truck we all want the same thing its just in the order we do it

 

Inch or so over stock after it's all installed. Honestly I don't want much lift for longevity of the parts up there and I would like to keep my cog lower if possible after seeing Tim go belly up.

 

No prob. I really want to start ordering shit for my truck it just sucks if i do it will be like 3 months before i get to touch it!!

Yeah i might start ordering in a month or two just so its not all sitting around for that long. I will wait and get the tires when i get back. Maybe tim can get me a hook up on a new set.

 

X2 or any of the other members around here that works at a tire shop. It seems like around here the taco owners either are in the military or work at a tire shop
