@deadpocketss I know you've got the computer for gaming, but how's you're general computer knowledge? I'm looking for a very small laptop that I can basically use for just word docs, programing the radio, and tuning the PID controllers on my RC helos.

    Any ideas?

My Golden made it 15yrs and 9 months. They usually are a 12yr'er. She never had anny problems up until her last few weeks. She developed seizures and I just couldn't put her through that. It was over 3yrs ago and it still hits me in the feels to type it out

Man losing doggos is the worst. Sorry to hear that Bodean. We had two wieners. Lost them both a year apart as well a few years ago now. Always a hole in your heart.

Well fuck. Since I mentioned it and brought in the feels...………………..now you guys can get hit in them too

    A Dog's Prayer
Treat me kindly, my beloved master, for no heart in all the world is more grateful for kindness than the loving heart of me.

Do not break my spirit with a stick, for though I should lick your hand between the blows, your patience and understanding will more quickly teach me the things you would have me do.

Speak to me often, for your voice is the world's sweetest music, as you must know by the fierce wagging of my tail when your footstep falls upon my waiting ear.

When it is cold and wet, please take me inside... for I am now a domesticated animal, no longer used to bitter elements... and I ask no greater glory than the privilege of sitting at your feet beside the hearth... though had you no home, I would rather follow you through ice and snow than rest upon the softest pillow in the warmest home in all the land... for you are my god... and I am your devoted worshiper.

Keep my pan filled with fresh water, for although I should not reproach you were it dry, I cannot tell you when I suffer thirst. Feed me clean food, that I may stay well, to romp and play and do your bidding, to walk by your side, and stand ready, willing and able to protect you with my life, should your life be in danger.

And, beloved master, should the Great Master see fit to deprive me of my health or sight, do not turn me away from you. Rather hold me gently in your arms as skilled hands grant me the merciful boon of eternal rest...and I will leave you knowing with the last breath I drew, my fate was ever safest in your hands.

Always loved the long hairs. Our were brothers from the same mother. A year apart. The black and tan one was younger and I'm fairly certain if dogs could have down syndrome, he had it. The character they had though.

Maybe Microsoft Surface or Lenovo Thinkpad/Ideapad would at least be a good place to start looking?

How do you like it? I'm looking at design programs for the exact same thing.

I just used the free version and it was more than adequate... I basically just used it to show people what the final product would look like.. takes some time to get used But did the job. Haven’t really been building much lately.

Hey speaking of awesome american fast food. We're driving down through Washington to Montana on the way home to Alberta from Vancouver Island in August. Camping at Flathead Lake for a few nights first. What are some must try places?

    Chick fila is trash.

Sonic is good (for fast food*). Burgers are mostly decent, can be hit or miss depending on where you go. Cherry Limeade and Ocean Water drinks are my favorites.

They're good for fast food. I'd be willing to bet you'll find some amazing local eateries.
