My drivers side sun visor on my 05 has been loose since I bought it. Today it decided to get looser, and fall into my field of vision. Anyone else have this problem? It's not the mounting flange, nor the center clip.

You're not alone. Mine hasn't fell down, but it's very loose.

I did a web search, and apparently it's a common problem with Highlanders and Tundras too. I call it a safety issue.

lol. Call the news team! haha. Na, but I've been thinking about getting some velcro, and sticking it to the roof.

Tried that , but it will take an adhesive in addition to the sticky back. Just a PITA, and apparently Toyota won't do anything about it, from what I'm reading.

Tundra and Highlanders apparently have some differences in their visors, but it seems there are a lot of owners complaining about it. One guy advised to slide the visor off the pivot arm, so I tried it. It came off alright, but I found that there was a plastic piece inside the visor that was broken inside the visor shell. I don't think it happened when I slid the visor off. Regardless, I guess I'll order a new one.

Mine's getting loose as well. I plan on getting a curved needle w/ thread & stitching velcro on the headliner & visor. PITA, but I can't think of anything else.

After several failed attempts to cobble up a tighter hold, I gave up ... found a source (toyotapart.com) and bought a brand new one for $72 plus shipping.
