Cut & broke off stuff. Prolific ziptie and tape usage.
Not surprised. Been to many stores and had to show employees in their own catalogs what i wanted after they claimed to not sell that sort of thing. Most recently, guy a napa counter didn't know what rasps and burrs were.

Breathers are routed to the engine bay. Wiring is cleaned up. I was ready to seal the floor, but I broke my caulk gun. Try again tomorrow.

After that, I just have to make my console fit again and put the cab back together.

    I can see the end.

I almost erased that after I typed it. Haha. I can already see how it’s going to go.

The console is going to be tricky because the new floor sits higher than the old one.

My seat brackets probably won’t long up with their holes from all the trans tunnel smashing.

I’m sure something else will go wrong.

Also have a cv to reboot and replace.

The things. Cut all the things.

Yea, the front of the console has to be cut. The rear of the trim piece that goes around your shifters has to be cut off too.

Grinder and dremel. Grinder with cutoff wheels is absolutely necessary for this project. The dremel with EZ-lock cutoff wheels might not be a necessity, but it sure is handy.

Okay cool. Those are pretty much the only two cutting tools I have - I don't own a jigsaw. haha

    Good news/bad news.

Bad news is I’m an idiot. (You’re all surprised, I know)

Good news is my DS wasn’t the wrong length. I put grease in it before trying to install it. Apparently I put too much so the it was vapor locking the tube before fully collapsing. The driveshaft guy was nice enough to call and tell me to come get my shit out of his shop free of charge (after an appropriate amount of making fun of me) haha.
