so my truck has like 40k miles on it

and recently my truck makes this clink noise, but it doesn't happen all the time when I step on my brake... it's more like metal hit metal noise. I have no idea what it is... it kinda annoying. Maybe its the drum, (which I doubt) Maybe the axle wrapping.... (which i doubt too)... any thoughts??

my brake works fine thou... stops really good and all.

also every since I had this truck, my brake pedal makes this CLICK noise everything i start the truck and drive away! It does it all the time.... i posted here before, but no one else seems to have an issue???

what do you guys think? should i make an appt with the dealership? I told them about the click pedal noise back in june of 09 when the upgrade my spring leaf. said they couldn't duplicate it.
you guys think I can get away of them fixing it for free since I mention it the last time??? afterall, they are a mess with this braking business!!

Sorry for being so vague. The brake pads "float" in the calipers. Some have glued the pads in place so there is no play. Hope that helps.

    no truck now :(
I had a clinking every once in a while after I replaced my front brakes. The pads float, so they shift and the shifting is what is causing the clink. I wouldn't worry about it unless the brakes do not perform like they normally do.. no brakes or very weak braking.. then take it to a shop.
