I think Pruitt will have that defense playing above its talent level this year, and with some recruiting will have the second best defense in the east, behind UGA. May even compete with UGA's defense. (I think Kirby is a better defensive mind, and can get his players to go the distance a bit better than Pruitt)

If Pruitt can put together a decent recruiting class with a solid QB and 2 monster RB's, UT will be in contention for the east within 2 years, may win it within 4.

If Saban retires and Alabama hires Pruitt, well.....none of this will happen.

Honestly, my personal hope is that Dabo comes back. I like his style of coaching better than Saban's, but I'm not complaining. Dabo has the ability to be fun and serious when the team needs it most.

It is also my hope that when Saban retires, he gets the AD fired and takes over...lol.

Yeah I think 3 or 4 years and we will be close. We just lost eric crosby off the O line because of his Knee injury.

If you look back TN has had a lot of really close games with both FL and GA. With several of the FL games being only one point and several other within 3 or 4 points. I think we are closer to those teams than some people think.


Out big problem is getting a new damn coach every 2 to 4 years.
