I still hold to my original theory that the series will end with Sam as the Arch Maester of the Citadel and will end the series by recanting his telling of the time he was alive in his historical book that he will close to end the series "A Game of Thrones"

But to go with this, to add to it, the gold company is backed by the Iron Bank, not Cersei, the Iron Bank simply used Cersei to get the Gold Company to Westeros to remove her from power, they will turn on her in the field of battle.

The Mountain is "the undead" essentially a wight, now, how close to an actual wight is still to be seen, but it is fitting that wights can be killed by being burned, so I call it that the Hound will kill the Mountain by burning him (arc goes full circle).

I hope Arya uses that Qyburn guys face when she kills Cersei. I hate that freaking guy!!!

 

He did in season six when the faith militant came to get Cersi.

 

Maybe because we watched 7 seasons and waited 7 years and the final battle against the white walkers was sort of a dud and they should have done it last season and not had a year and a half of hype about it..

Not necessarily, all Arch Maesters have told their versions of history through time. That is what Sam learns when he is at the Citadel to become a Maester. It doesnt necessarily mean his version is 100% accurate, just how he perceived it and how he puts it together from the stories he has heard. My theory is that what we have seen these 8 seasons, is his perception of what happened

I found it interesting in the post-episode breakdown when discussing Missandei's final word. (I think it was) Weiss who said when she said 'Dracarys' she was speaking directly to Dany basically telling her to 'light them up'. I turned to my wife and said 'I feel like he missed an opportunity to say 'burn them all' there...' but the more I think about it I really think either Missandei should have said 'burn them all' or at least have Weiss acknowledge that is what she meant and that would've solidified the theories that Dany will become the Mad Queen just like her father...

 

Yep and Varys will kill her.

Even though I think she is so dumb that she is borderline suicidal. A danger to herself lol.
