Well it'll definitely require some cutting and welding, so IDK if that denotes hero status. I also tucked and locked-locked the steering, small I/F to the stock washer bottle with the alignment cams set at full neutral.

    On 33s with 3" backspacing.

I actually just wanted to see if I could retro-fit 2nd gen A-arms/spindles to my truck, but I haven't had time to go steal them off another member's truck for a test fit.

    Indeed.
But the Lower mounting points are almost the same, idk about uppers though.
ofc the spindles/lower shape is completely different too cause compression BJ not tension BJ.

As someone who has never pulled an engine before, should I pull my engine, drop the trans first, put it on a stand and clean the living shit out of it ?

I can’t wrap my head around a better way other than spot cleaning with it still in.

Maybe I’m just thinking too big and should work on little stuff as I go. I don’t know. Sometimes I regret buying a project. Others times I absolutely love it.

I’ll probably end up cleaning it in the bay, the 3rz does afford me a good bit of room, but my water pump, ac pump, and block look like shit

If I really put effort into it, I could reach in there maybe with a dremel and a wire brush, then paint everything by hand meticulously.... or pull the engine. Haha.

Take off intake and tb and plenum and clean all that too. Then I think I’d be happy

Change radiator and fan shroud too and things would look great.

Is that due to different spline count or the housing shape?
