Hello everyone, just got my 2018 tacoma sr5 rwd a week ago and loving it, it took me 2 months to find the truck and best deal that i want it, already forgot how many car dealers i visited (lol), this is my very first truck, started searching for RAMs than Titans, but the Tacoma caught me, fell in love with it when i test drove the first one, now im looking to make my first upgrade to my taco, been searching around the site for info on wheels and tires, trying to keep it stock, i already have a couple of 18s wheels and tires saved just not sure if there will be any rubbing or not, any info will be appreciated

Welcome to the forum Danny, that’s a very nice looking truck. You’ll find a wealth of information here. Did your neighbor in the background
picture have anything to do with your choice?

Welcome aboard. 18's are fine, I'm just curious how you landed on that wheel size.

Thanks bud, well i seen many tacomas lifted and with very nice wheels and tires, i really dont know much about rims and tires, trying to find if 18s work and which is the biggest tire that i can put on without any rubbing

Yeah, that's a common question. 32 inch tires will fit with no rubbing. Generally, people on here prefer a smaller wheel (16-17 inch) with a larger tire. Some of that is an aesthetic choice, but much of it is performance related (which may not be a concern for you). I would encourage you to consider a 16 or 17 inch wheel and a 265/75/16 or 265/70/17 tire.
Also, lifting doesn't really affect how large of a tire you can run. It's more of a width issue.
