    Against my better judgement I might be picking up a couple of used OEM CVs this weekend....trying to get a price on them now. But last time I bought OEM CVs (used) one of them blew apart at the tulip a month later.

    Yeah I'm sure they're fine, just plan on rebooting. I haven't had a truly bad used OEM CV yet, they're miles ahead of any of the cheapo (especially the ones branded new) CVs the parts stores offer... I was looking at NEW (not refurb) CVs from AutoZone for the Z and they look nothing like the Z ones at all, because the Z doesn't need to steer on the rear wheels it uses tulip joints (which are stronger) on the inside and outside, but the autozone ones use the weaker bearing cage style ones inner and outer.
