    I like the thought of it. I thought I read there were issues, either service availability...or something. Do you remember the issues?

    That is only for cooling the snout I believe, which isn't really meant for cooling the air going into the charger.

    Downside is you have to run your AC all the time for it to work. Which is gonna effect your mpg even more. They do make bypasses but I believe you have to manually activate them.
    You need the ac on because you will bypass the stock exchanger in front of the radiator, otherwise that will warm the cooled air provided by the killerchiller.

    My smiles are always up......until I pull up to the pump!

    160 miles on the odometer and 16 gallons in.......:eek:

    But then you get back on the road, the whine kicks in and you forget about it for a couple of miles.

    Yup. It’s been installed on a couple TRD blowers but they said it wasn’t worth it cause the amount of coolant in the fins were minimal. Hollowing the rotors seems like the best steigmeyer offers other than a rebuild.

    Just installed the AFE intake and am seeing AFR max at 11.8 pretty quick at full throttle.

    1. Should I be worried?
    2. What do I need to change to see lower numbers than this stock config can spit out?

    Dont remind me. I gotta fill up at the pump here in the next 30 minutes. :(

    Hollowing of rotors seems like a legit modactually! Those rotors are heavy!

    That is perfect actually. You are at a great AFR. We need to make sure you are not pinging under RPM though. Do you hear any audible noises while accelerating hard?

    No pinging, just a lot of whine like it should be. But I’m pretty sure it’s going below 11.8 just not showing it ... I remember someone mentioned the sensor can only read into the 11.7s?

    [Edit] it’s the 02 sensor limit discussed back on page 739, I just don’t know what to do with that info. Lower AFM = richer = not a big worry, is that right?

    11.9 is the limits of the PCM air fuel ratio readout limits.

    Where are you obtaining your air fuel ratio readouts from? If you dont have a wideband AFR gauge then you really need to.

    No, that is reading the factory sensors. You need a dedicated sensor and guage to get an accurate reading.
