1.25 inch wheel spacer 265/75/16 stock height any rubbing

. I'm about to get me some spider trax 1.25 inch spacers today. 265/75/16 on stock off road wheels no lift . Hoping no rubbing . Any experience with this setup ? I did try the search button no luck . Thanks

 

I have stock tires/wheels, flat aftermarket mud flaps and Spidertrax 1.25” spacers and nothing rubs.

With 265s the only time I would rub was driving fast in turns with big dips. Think making a turn on to a gravel road with a 6” drop at 20-30mph

FYI. I have RekGen mud flaps, stock suspension, and i’ve never taken it off roading so they haven’t rubbed yet.
Wheel is cranked each way in each close up pic.

Ever get the spacers?

Wondering if my 265 duratracs would rub with spidertrax spacer (stock height)

 

I just ordered yesterday. Wow. More than a year of holding up . I’ll reply once I get it installed. Btw , did you also installed one ?

 

Yeah i did and mine make my tires rub like crazy

 

Did you cut ? Where.

 

No i havent chopped or trimmed yet, They rub near the cab mount

 

Thanks. I guess I’ll have to do the CMC before the install. Was planning on trading in the taco but new 4runner prices are so crazy high so I guess I’ll hold on to thus for a year this the minimal mods to keep me interested lol . Thanks

 

I’d say install and see if u rub before u chop, i think some people dont rub

Why would you want spacers on a tire size that fits stock with absolutely no issues? Aside from a cosmetic look?

 

Looks . If I keep this taco, then lift will be my next step. Need to do something to shake things to keep me interested in it up for now lol. Anyway, scheduled for cmc this Saturday with @GHOST SHIP .

 

Did you get those 1.250 spacers installed with the 265/75/16s just ordered mine last night wondering if I'll have to level the truck thanks!

 

I installed then sold it a few days later . I just don’t like the handling . Seems like I can feel every road imperfections . The positive thing about it it makes my ride looks good.
