Heads up if any of you have Allstate, starting with renewals in July you will now need to add coverage for custom equipment if you want to get paid for your mods in a claim. Keep your eyes peeled for pre renewal notices about all the changes. Most are a good thing, the custom equipment kind of a bummer though.

 

Not with Allstate but I really need to talk to my insurance company about covering custom modifications. They said no problem when I initially signed up and had about $7k into the truck. I’m a little over that now and probably need to have my policy reflect that.

 

Yeah would prob be a good idea. Still looks like it is going to mirror the standard auto ACV model so parts will be depreciated, but something is better than nothing especially with how much $ you have tied up into the truck

Just get them soda blasted. You're gonna rebuild them anyways, right? Leave the old nasty boots and pistons in, get them soda blasted, then discard the boots and pistons because they'll be caked with the powder. They'll be as clean as they day they were made.

 

Holy shit, I was waaay past empty today so I got gas there, $3f**king.39 for 87 octane. I quite enjoy the pulled pork but damn, I will never get gas there again.

The shell on Thompson peak ain't much better about 10c a gallon cheaper but I get 5-10 cents per gallon off from shell fuel rewards. Car wash at the thumb ain't cheap either, but the foods good

What the heck are you putting 100 octane in? Is it tuned for that or are you just pissing in the gas tank?
