Depends how you roll. Need room for other people? Or just need room for your 'stuff'. My last truck was a single-cab, short (6') bed. I liked that truck, suited my needs & style. Since I got this access cab, I'm shittin' in high cotton!

I went from an access cab to DCSB and have no regrets. Needed more space in the back for my kids. I was concerned about going from the 6' bed to the 5' bed. We do a lot of camping and wasn't sure if all our gear would fit in the bed. Until now the 5' bed hasn't been an issue and my kids enjoy riding in the truck a lot more. When thinking about what you ultimately do keep in mind not only what your needs are now , but what they will be in a few years. Good luck with your decision.

I’m confused, the Tacoma is not good to transport dirt bikes and sport bikes...so you want to trade it for another Tacoma with less back seat space?

    Nothing says to the ladies-

“You’re going to fall in love with me. You already have. Your mom fuckin loves me already, and she’s hated all your boyfriends. Your dad wishes he was my homeboy. I remind you of him. I’m everything you’ve ever wanted...but you cannot tame me. You will chase me to the ends of time but I will never marry you- and this makes you want me more. No...you cannot have me. I live the straight up savage AF, waking up random places, hucking to flat, bet it all on black AND red gnar-core lifestyle.”

Access cab with a shell is great

It's the most practical truck if you don't regularly take passengers, its also got a long bed + shorter wheelbase making it more versatile offroad and more importantly parking in a city. If you don't have a need for full backseats the access cab checks all the other boxes

    No way Jose.

Parents-dead long ago. And I bought a house last year. I still live in my own basement. But that’s because all my tools and toys are down there.

Started with a Sport 6MT ACLB and ended up swapping out for an Off-Road 6MT DCSB. If I could do it all over, I'd still do the swap but I'd have done the ACLB Off-Road with the AT. I know the AT has its issues but I bought the compromise between my bachelor truck (6MT access cab) and my married truck (6AT DCSB) and I did it backwards. I have no plans for kids so the ACLB would be fine after I built a dog platform and the AT would have meant she could wheel it. Instead I have the worst of both worlds where pulling two completely functional seats feels dumb and I'm the only one who drives it.

So long, completely unnecessary story short, just fucking do it.

Nice, and I’m assuming you knew I was joking. I had 2 ACs before my French fry dropping, Cheerio spilling little minions took over my trucks back seats.

Although he didnt say this, i an guessing he has a DCSB now and needs the extra bed space. But he doesnt like the look of the DCLB.

Vape clouds look way better coming out of an access cab. I don’t know why, they just do.

Either way you really only fit 2 bikes in the back of either. The long bed allows a little more room for gear and tools.
