Could you add a FAQ section on your site that we can figure out some of the common stuff more readily? Not really a complaint at all just something I was looking for when I was there. Perhaps this thread or an email is sufficient.

For example:
what is the lead/ship time estimates when orders are placed?

Don’t want to put any pressure on @FreshMexicanTaco, but I had my DMM in hand in less than 7 days after the order. Installed that weekend, and could not be happier. Just take your time, and it will look like it came from the factory. Be sure to post pics!

The screw is tight...and when I rotate the ball the whole pieces rotates with it except for the screw. Nothing rotates after I tighten the screw

I just saw my tracking and noticed where it is shipping from, holy crap your a hop, skip and jump away from me. You are like 20 miles away, 25 tops! I could have picked them up from you on my way to work tomorrow

Yeah I haven’t really had too many people come pick up the DMM... usually everyone even San Diego locals just order but yeah if anyone wants to they can come pick It up in Chula Vista.

 

So the ball is rotating around the screw. Did you try the superglue idea?

 

He did say nothing rotates after tightening, the super glue idea would definitely work for those times when things do rotate, but I don’t want anyone to have to do that to keeps things from spinning so if anyone else has that problem I want to know so I can make the necessary changes to fix that.

 

I have noticed the ball works loose a bit over time. But a retighten of the Allen head screws inside the ball resolves it.

What has come loose is the ball inside the choetech charger.

I think it is from putting a slight pressure to the side causing it to slowly comming loose coupled with a bit of vibration

Thinking a drop of blue locktite would solve the ball, an a drop of superglue on the choetech would solve the issue

I must be reading it wrong. I thought he said that he already tried tightening the screw and the ball still spun. @mOjO_Taco ?

In the beginning I would hold the screw and the whole piece with the ball would rotate and not just the ball. So I retightened the screw and now nothing rotates (which is normal). I believe after some time the screw will get loose which caused the ball to rotate which is also why I recommended using either blue loctite or a lock washer nut on the screw which would be inside the console.

 

Just for the record, the product is not broken and might just be me being picky. I absolutely love the mount and it is extremely sturdy.
