FINALLY GOT AROUND TO THIS. While I was taking a break from my speaker install (wiring is not my thing). I got the plate and bolts color matched!

I very occasionally regret not waiting for the Tacoma ones.

But I digress, they're both amazing pieces of work

Do you make this grille for the 2.5 gen?? I saw this on ebay a few months ago and still regret not getting it and now I can’t find it anywhere.

my grille has developed rust spots over the last 18 months. what's the best way to touch it up again without removing it from the truck?

 

I think the most efficient way would be to apply wallet liberally. That way you do not have to remove the grille, it is done "correctly", and you have recourse (warranty) if the issue is not resolved correctly the first time.



Otherwise I would suggest over a minimum of 3 days to ensure best results.... remove, sand, use a good converter/primer, add bed liner paint per manufacturers recommendations, allow to cure completely prior to re-installing.

i just hit mine with some matte black touch up paint from walmart whenever i see a knick. if it get's bad, email me and let's figure out what to do.

 

Hey Greg, still absolutely loving the Grille thanks again so much. Was wondering 2 questions
1) do you know do any raptor light kit that fits this grille?
2) do you know of any light bar that would fit behind the “Tacoma” so I can light it up at night?

Can you update the OP, it looks like I can get some custom letters, like "tacoma" in inferno? Any extra for that?

 

Nice! I hope the run continues. Toyota is on a witch hunt these days and are roasting anyone using Toyota or the word Tacoma. It's probably about time for me to go talk with a trademark lawyer to figure out my defense

 

I don't actually custom paint the back plate. It's shipped with a bushed stainless plate and each customer is customizing/painting it after they receive it. Just trying to keep costs down as much as I possibly can.
