Hello I’m new to TW and pretty new to my 2016 Tacoma. I recently put a nitro 3” spacer on the front but something doesn’t look right. I feel as if everything is too.. stretched..?
I’m planning on buying new UCA’s.. but would that fix the problem?
    I’d appreciate any help!EA4F2302-D804-49A8-8BD4-DA83D784A2B9.jpgC2F2430D-48CA-48AD-B192-D6D5A0446E2D.jpg

If you’re spending the money for UCAs you should also invest in a proper lift

Basically anything other than a 3” spacer lift. Bilstein 5100s would be a good start if you’re on a budget

Take the spacer out. That's how you fix the problem. If you really want to lift it do it with a set of adjustable coil overs. Keep it under 2 inches and you wont even need to buy UCA's.

I ran 3 inch spacers for a while and yes aftermarket UCAs will fix the issue. I had no problems with my spacer lift regardless of what everyone says. I was able to fit 33s and I did some moderate to hard offroad trails. Your lift will be fine, but you will need the ucas and an alignment. And make sure you research the ucas before you buy them. I have total chaos uniballs and I love them.

@CouchlessPotato thank you! I was starting to get real worried about my decision!
I’m looking at some tuff country control arms since their only 320. Did you have to upgrade anything else other than the UCA’s?

I would just drive it the way it is for now and don't go offroad. Also be careful because your bump steer is going to be terrible with stock ucas. Save up and buy some nice ucas. People on here say spc light racing adjustable ucas are good too.

No problem man, I know how it is to want the lift on a budget. I have 5100s now, but my spacer lift was on the truck for like 3 years until I blew out my stock shocks. As long as you get the right ucas you'll be alright.

They won't be able to get the camber alligned with the stock ucas

Remember that it’s a 3rd gen and 3”, especially spacers, are pushing it pretty far. 2nd gens are different and some say it’s 1” lower factory suspension than 3rd gen.

Still looks like the uca is the limiting factor of the suspension to me. Think he'll he alright with some adjustable ones or uniballs

Perhaps, I just wouldn’t recommend spacer lifts. Takes away all your down travel

Yeah but temporarily it won't hurt anything. Mostly just makes the ride quality worse. Offroad it will be fine as long as hes not rock crawling. Better ucas will give him more down travel as well.

Yeah ride quality will suffer for sure. Hopefully OP has a 2WD and doesn’t have to worry about CV boots.

Did not know that was specifically for 4WDs. Damn I just learned something new.
