I did my own hitch and got an extra 3" of clearance out of it. The limiting factor was the fairlead, which is going to be built into the new bumper. The new bumper being aluminum.

If you don't draw blood, you're doing it wrong!
Shit man, were you eating Tide Pods, too?! You cray cray!
    :p

Can't wait to see it - sounds fuggin' RAD!

I'm guessing you're welding a hawse fairlead behind the license plate, and above the hitch receiver? Both hidden?

You've definitely piqued my interest!

I think I'm going to reconfigure that part which should get another few degrees out of it. I'm not doing swingouts on mine, cause sleeper.

Mule adjusted the preload a bit on the replacement set. Still not enough and I swear it has gotten much worse. Too much variance on the preload would most likely cause handling issues. I think I'll pop a spacer in there and see what happens.

There's either tide pods or lug nuts in there... at this point I'm not sure I can tell the difference. Which is probably why my laundry clunks sometimes, and doesn't get very clean.

@Benson X or @yeos where will I find the serial numbers on the coilovers? Will I need to pull them to see it?

They'll be on the silver part of the shock body, right above the Rebound adjustment collar. I had to get creative with a dental mirror to see mine on the old set, but the new ones are front and center

I trimmed the wings after nearly destroying one of my brand new KO2s. Hit one of the gnarly ditches in section 1 of the wabdr and pushed the tire up and right into the bumper. Took a few chunks out of the tread shoulder.

It depends on the orientation the shock was installed. It may be facing the frame and if that is the case, good luck with the mirror.

The old set, they were both on the backside (facing the engine) and completely obscured unless removed. I had to use a little dental inspection mirror to see them. Or spend 2 hours taking them off and putting them back on.

The new set, they are facing forward (like your headlights) and completely visible.

Same here. Chunked the hell out of the shoulder lugs on my STT pros. I hope to (eventually) trim the fenders and flares to match the lines of the bumper and maximize clearance.

@bobsuruncle I feel like my truck is trying to take after yours lol. Been small issue after small issue. But now its an odd one....driving to work everything is fine till going to stop. Stops just fine but just "idling" forward it starts making a weird ass sound and theres a vibration felt in the cab. Really it does seem to be anytime its under ~5mph its doing it. Shifting to neutral makes it stop.

Least I found a local guy to recharge the icon shocks and he did it for free pretty much. Guy does motorcycle shocks only but was willing to charge. Pretty much said charging with nitrogen was like filling a tire with air so why would I charge for it. Gave him $5 bucks anyways (all the cash i had on me).

Sounds like tq converter shudder or maybe a loose motor mount? Do you feel it only when idling forward? I've mine had started the lurch at a stop with the AC on. With the AC off it doesn't do it.
