Nope just moved it looks like according to the FB but..hell if I know. I don't pay that much attention.

 

He's been with GFC for a while. Catch his insta posts occasionally.

Just found out that we've got an unplanned road trip to Expo Overland-West next week! We entered a picture from our Alaska trip into their "Cool Rides" contest and found out yesterday that we have been selected as one of the eight finalists. We get to show off the truck at Happy Hour on Wednesday night and have a designated camping spot for the weekend. Super cool opportunity to get to see all the craziness of Overland Expo.

So turns out my defroster and rear wiper issue had to do with having to completely cycle the rear window once power has been disconnected...who knew

 

This project has taken entirely too long. Not that stoked on how much effort was needed to fit this thing. Also don't love the filament. Had to cut the bottom cradle off to get the filter high enough. Bit worried it will slowly slip down.

 

Fuel pump assembly? What is this for?

Yeah just got the tank back in the little truck. It fired up but I forgot to tighten the high pressure line so fuel was also going everywhere. About to try and fire it up again.

Also swapped the fuel filter.

 

Fired up again!

Line still leaking a tiny bit so re tightening it then if it goes a 3rd time then I wasn't getting fuel.

Still doesn't fully explain why it wouldn't turn over sometimes though...I do need a new battery it looks like

So truck fired right up again. Must've been a fuel issue. The stuff that came out of the filter was almost black..ha

Stoked it runs again.

Gonna do Frank's oem transmission mount and a new u joint. Should be good to drive for a while like that then eventually get a new leaf spring and do the motor mounts and clutch in Powell later this summer since the crane is still there.

Probably cave and add AC this year too
